"Tracing Home" is the sequel to "Silica Daughters" and the closing track to @northfield-lenox's striking album, Crystal Radio (links below). There was a quality in the music that tugged something akin to an old Appalachian ballad out of me as I followed the tale of the two sisters where it wanted to go. Sometimes there's just no way home.

Tracing Home (Northfield Lenox/Jen Roe)

Originally saved under the working title of 'Microspunto 13', this piece started out as a test of a Steinberger guitar I built from scattered parts found on the internet. I still own that guitar and it is one of my favourites and most used guitars ever.
The track was made in my home studio in late August and early September 2010 and never made it beyond the DEMO stage.
There is also an alternative version of the track with an electronic drum section created by Tommaso Fiori. I'm looking for it in the archives, as soon as I find it I'd like to put that one online too.
