A beautiful Zulu lullaby from South Africa. Sung with a (slightly out of tune!)Kalimba as accompaniment. I used this song for my work in an adult Hospice; it took on a certain poignance when I sang it for a gentleman patient and his family. Sadly, he died a few days later but his family requested a recording of Thula to play at his funeral. I was touched that the brief sharing of this beautiful music had taken on a special meaning for them and this is the recording I made. As usual it's a little rough around the edges due to limited technical capabilities..
