@radiantfutur is a live project of Ian Eremenko, a Kyiv musician known for his performances at CXEMA and Brave! Factory, as well as a number of events in Ukrainian underground clubs.

For many years Ian has been creating music in low tones, using notes of A-432 Hz as a basis. This is what he says about his approach:

«I like to use this system because it gives music a more flexible, rich and relaxed sound. I haven't seen any dance music in this tone, I wanted to go deeper into the interaction between the physics of sound and human sensations.

When I created the set for Katacult, I was experiencing melancholy and serenity, feelings that arise when watching movies from the 80s and 90s. This live is about a retro-futuristic and fantastic mood that I love.»

Hailing via Ontario (CA), Brandon co-founded the famous "inivisible City" Record Shop in Toronto which has since then released some important re-issues on the self-owned label and generally become a haven for the local record-digging scene. 

Around 2016/ 2017, however, Brandon has parted with Invisible City and it certainly did not take him long to establish his own fantastic label "Séance Centre" which does not solely focus on the music  but instead situates its releases in their individual cultural and physical environments via visual modalities like photos and documentary but also word-based comunication such as interviews, essays or storytelling.

It was immediately clear to us that his approach fits perfectly with 5918mins. and so we are glad that Brandon has contributed this summer special full of goodness, seamlessly meandering between more experimental and pleasing sounds. Perfect for the current heat wave.
