Hailing via Ontario (CA), Brandon co-founded the famous "inivisible City" Record Shop in Toronto which has since then released some important re-issues on the self-owned label and generally become a haven for the local record-digging scene. 

Around 2016/ 2017, however, Brandon has parted with Invisible City and it certainly did not take him long to establish his own fantastic label "Séance Centre" which does not solely focus on the music  but instead situates its releases in their individual cultural and physical environments via visual modalities like photos and documentary but also word-based comunication such as interviews, essays or storytelling.

It was immediately clear to us that his approach fits perfectly with 5918mins. and so we are glad that Brandon has contributed this summer special full of goodness, seamlessly meandering between more experimental and pleasing sounds. Perfect for the current heat wave.

An unexpected and pleasant recognition in our direction is the new funky and groovy mix by Yuriy Son, in which he focuses on the releases of the artists from the roster of his favorite label Lumbago, including Steve Marie, Robbenspierre, Chaou.B, The Signal Phantasm, Prince de Takicardie.
