Here is my set from the Klangtherapie Festival 2022.
I've actually prepared a different set for this morning, but in the end I didn't play a single track from it. The vibe was different than expected. Unfortunately there was no recording, so I played the tracklist again at home. Thank you so much for all the dancers and the nice people I got to know in Plankenfels. Enjoy <3

This is my closing set from Abracadabra at Ponderosa Ranch, a small boutique festival in the Waikato region of New Zealand. 

Taking place amongst an age old native forest, the sun perfectly on a Sunday evening as the weekend drew to a close and I took to the stage with a certain responsibility to bring a magical weekend to its end. This performance was one of the most empowering shows I’d ever played, a somewhat unforgettable moment.

💿 An unforgettable Moment 💿

Heute haben wir Harry Charles mit einem Podcast auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Genauer gesagt handelt es sich hierbei um ein Live-Set und das Closing für das Abracadabra, ein kleines Boutique-Festival in Neuseeland. 
In einem alten Wald, an einem sonnigen Sonntagabend, hatte Harry Charles die verantwortungsvolle Aufgabe, ein rundum magisches Wochenende zu seinem glanzvollen Abschluss zu geleiten. Dieser Auftritt auf der Ponderosa Ranch war für ihn ein zutiefst inspirierendes Erlebnis. Ein knapp zweistündiger Augenblick, der für immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird. 
Beim Hören dieses Podcasts fühlt man sich durch Raum und Zeit versetzt. Auf einmal tanzt man selbst auf der Stage im Wald. Die Sonne scheint einem fröhlich ins Gesicht und warme Töne und Gedanken durchströmen das tanzende Kollektiv.

Now we're reunited, & I’m back here and now!

The last four weeks have been like a rollercoaster ride….what im saying .,.. the last three years at least!!!. 

First, Nixe called to play the closing, to spent so much time before the show, putting together a completely new live set , brings me back to my old rhythm what I lost 3 years ago after corona. 13 songs and a bunch of new material later, I was finally ready to finish the Liveset a few days ago. 

To keep it short, first problem what I had I needed a new laptop after all….., as the old one is finally entering its well-deserved retirement after 13 years and hundreds of shows!

All at last minute…. its so typical for myself ^^

While traveling to the festival, I had to set up my computer again and finally finished five hours before the show. 

When I stepped into the stage and saw those thousands of faces and felt the energy, my excitement and adrenaline were almost unstoppable. I had what were probably (sorry, Seebühne, for running out of time) the two most intense hours of my musical career. All the joy in your faces, wow!


To give you back some of the good feelings for all those who continued to believe in me over the past two years, or those I upset, it was important to me to explain to you here now. I wasn't doing well at all. I was severely depressed, addicted to drugs, myself was in deep grief without consciousness, I lost the most important person in my life, I miss you every day!!

In this time I traveled to the darkest places of my soul and lived there for a long time, my valley was gray and cold, I have seen and felt things that no one wants to see and feel, the drug is so insidious and temptingly dangerous in combination with a broken soul ! be careful with the K, and all of these points lead to me being on the verge of giving up, with myself and of course musically!

But my little monkey & my big love saved my life and my music. They gave me a new perspective on my life!!
Knowing how to make you happy while Mogli peacefully drifts off to sleep in his dream at the camping space, and we experience two unforgettable hours,
and him being indirectly there and responsible for it, makes me so incredibly happy and proud. 

Thank you, and I also thank my wonderful wife Elisa, without whom none of this would have been possible. I love you.

And last but not least, I have to thank probably the most important people in my environment, my closest friends, and especially my musical soul mate, Ninze, thank you for letting me go first with this booking, I really appreciate that! When our paths crossed, no one could have guessed what would happen next, it wasn't us who found each other, but the music who found us, I'm looking forward to our musical future with you <3 love you

Imagine we could combine all the emotions we had in those two hours
and do even more good with it!

Look out for each other and love each other.

Only in this way can we be stronger than what weakens us!

Having been going to Fusion for 10 years, this was a dream come true and I probably never was so excited and nervous before a set. Although I imagined how it hopefully would be, the moment itself exceeded my expectations and I just couldn't stop smiling. I feel very grateful that my vision of what a sunrise at Fusion can sound like resonated so well with you all.. 
Please excuse the occasional audio glitches - there was a voltage problem with the mixer which made the audio cut out at random moments. There aren't too many of those though :)

Sometimes the best sets are the ones that happen in the afterhour, when all you want is one last dance before it's all over :)
Seeing that huge sea of faces in front of me was so moving - all those people with their eyes closed, melancholic but smiling, exhausted yet still moving to the beat. What a view.

Thank you to Nick & Robin from @fernab-berlin for having me and for creating that special atmosphere on the Archipel floor!
