The human blink is controlled by the subconscious. The reflexive closing movement of the eyelids clean and protect the eyes. When we blink, the visual centre in the brain is regulated. Therefore, we do not consciously perceive this whole process and the briefly reduced incidence of light. On average, this procedure is conducted 10-15 times per minute. In moments of great excitement, joy or concentration, we can blink significantly less often. Due to the excessive focus, the blinking becomes a consciously controlled process for a certain amount time. The first Joe Carl EP on KataHaifisch contains two tracks. Students and party-people should stick to their own kind. Often, you cant choose your neighbors. Therefore, agreements should be made and such agreements should be honored. Most of the time, there is an acceptable solution for all parties involved. This way, neighborly relations may even become a pleasant affair. Augensteins EP contains two original tracks. The title track exudes a dark disco vibe, driven by expressive basslines and a pitch-shifted vocal. In less than five minutes Augenstein delivers a full and powerful auditory experience. "Midnight Pathfinder" serves as the logical B-side of this EP. The energy remains high, with a mix of bass shots and a playful lead underpinned by percussion. We extend our wishes to Her Majesty for a safe and pleasant journey. Joe Carl once again knows how to skillfully blend captivating melodies and expressive bass.
