Hippos are definitely extraordinary animals. They live in perfect symbiosis with the other inhabitants of their biocoenosis and contribute significantly to the stability of the whole ecosystem. Hippos move both on land and on water. During the day, the colossi enjoy the African sun inside a river. At night they go to graze a pasture land. Normally hippos live together in smaller groups. There are also some loners of their species, which are usually bind territorially. The attentive reader may have determined some similarities to the average raver, could that still be coincidence? This release is the first official EP from Savu. It contains two fancy and highly creative tracks, which are both danceable and useful for relaxing too. Depending on the situation, these piece of music can be enjoyed with a cocktail by pool or slightly sweaty in a club surrounded by your own Hippo crew. Thank you.

The human blink is controlled by the subconscious. The reflexive closing movement of the eyelids clean and protect the eyes. When we blink, the visual centre in the brain is regulated. Therefore, we do not consciously perceive this whole process and the briefly reduced incidence of light. On average, this procedure is conducted 10-15 times per minute. In moments of great excitement, joy or concentration, we can blink significantly less often. Due to the excessive focus, the blinking becomes a consciously controlled process for a certain amount time. The first Joe Carl EP on KataHaifisch contains two tracks. Both are well suited for a club setting. Strong basses create a dancing mood and hypnotic leads a dreamy atmosphere. In both songs you can hear the unique style of Joe Carl. Originating from an early version of my Mondkranich (https://soundcloud.com/underyourskinrecords/reyneke-mondkranich-im-dezember-uysr073) , this version was basically created for using it in my liveset. It is a little bit faster (104bpm) and features a punchier, funkier sound.

»Gazeux« is one of the four fundamental states of matter. Drifting particles indicate the movement of surrounding matter — in this track M.Funk captured that principle of constant and evolving movement in a generative ambient piece made entirely with modular synthesizer equipment.

Inspired by the hallucinogenic atmosphere, Borte and P.Careïra lend their own touch to the original track.
