Katalyst is a nine piece band born and bred in Los Angeles, CA. Katalyst's style of music can best be described as “contemporary instrumental,” combining sounds from all over the world integrated with jazz. Katalyst is not just a band, however, it is a collective of producers, composers, session musicians, and writers who have worked with the likes of Beyonce, Solange, Kanye West, Nas, Alina Baraz, Soulection, SiR, and more. 
Katalyst’s debut album ‘Nine Lives’ encompasses all of their influences, exposing their wide range of versatility. Each member of the collective has influenced these tracks, making them nothing short of original.
