Katankin's debut single 'Hey Little Spider' was released on June 30th, and is a moving and vulnerable exploration of existential angst, that uses moody and evocative symbolism to delve into some very human and relatable states of being. The track’s lush electronic production by veteran producer Philip Rex (of TONELAB and Decoy fame) creates an affecting accompaniment to Helen’s unique vocals, comprising rich orchestral string lines, synth pad swells, and a deep bass drum pattern as the steady heartbeat of the song.  

The music video produced and directed by Elizabeth Fermanis was recently released on July 14th, and is a strikingly lush, dreamy and intense visual narrative that complements the song's themes in a perfect pairing of sound and imagery.
