"I discover the cosmos through music while the cosmos reveals music to me.​​ Sound and Space form a coherent whole. Their mystical strength and energy together form the indissoluble unity of the universe.​​

The album “Space in Between” is based on my concept, in which I have collected several compositions written by various modern composers. Most of these compositions are in a mantric and minimalistic style. It is all connected with an ambient and three­dimensional “spacey” character.​​I also built a few of these arrangements with beautiful neo­classic sounding melodies on two instruments ­­ a Rhodes and a piano (Manuel de Falla: “Asturiana”, Joaquin Rodrigo: “En Aranjuez con tu amor”). 

Between the pieces, we hear sounds of the planets. Even these sounds alone, create a wonderful and unique musical space.​​I have dedicated one track­ connecting “atmosphere” from the album to each of the composers. The main hero on this album is, in fact, the piano ­­ often prepared and treated with electronic effects. It takes me on a cosmic journey"

The expanded double CD re-issue of The Licence To Interpret Dreams will be released late August / early September 2018. The original multitracks have been refreshed to give a new life to the album. Alongside this there is an additional CD, which features remixes by Marconi Union, Hummingbird, The Humble Bee, Tape Loop Orchestra, Peter Jørgensen, Ben Chatwin, Ian Hawgood, Aaron Martin, Olan Mill, Bill Seaman, Field Rotation, Antonymes and Clem Leek. The remixes are very special and the whole thing has been lovingly remastered by James Plotkin.

This very limited album comes out on the wonderful Fluid Audio imprint and will include a 24 page perfect bound book housed in a heavyweight card sleeve.

Here's a sneak preview, the Antonymes remix which takes elements from several tracks on the original album.

Hallowed Halls was written as a homage to ancient or enchanting architectural spaces. When you walk into some buildings, the sense of history living within the walls and very fabric of the building is palpable. Generations come and go, lovingly maintaining their most cherished spaces to exist within a world they will never know. The piece combines the sound of an old orchestral keyboard instrument called the celeste with various synths and bell-like textures, and a repetitive groove built from a traditional Irish drum called the bodhran. Louise Anna’s voice is also used within the texture to create a sense of it reverberating within the space. The track has taken on a new significance recently, with all the concert halls, theatres and gathering spaces worldwide that lie dormant, waiting to be filled with life again.
