This song means a lot to me, it's the first one I'm releasing that I recorded all by myself, mostly in my dorm door too! This song is about experiencing one of the best and worst weeks of my life. I was kissing a friend and wrecking my car days later. It's funny how things ebb and flow. The contrast makes the opposite so much more intense!

“I would say it’s my most bedroom pop song to date, I think I took myself by surprise on the production of this song. A fun fact about this song is that I wrote and recorded it all in one day. On one hand, the lyrics convey a sense of built-up resentment, there are unspoken grievances and tension. On the other hand, the lyrics show regret that the relationship is ending, and if I could do it all over I would. Everything is easier in hindsight, I always look back on things and think about what I would have done differently, especially in relationships. It’s like, knowing what I know would have been a lot more helpful at the beginning. I felt awful that I was the reason the relationship ended, but I couldn’t have done anything differently.
