I wrote this parody of Frozen's 'Let it Go' as Castiel's last night in Heaven. I was kind of inspired by a fanfic called 'The Soul Piece' and if you haven't read it (it's by cloudyjenn) you absolutely should.

Story:
Castiel is standing on the edge of Heaven, looking out over the vibrant light of Earth and thinking of Heaven's own light. He weighs his choice before finally realizing that he must fall to protect the boys he holds dear.

In the last line, that is his final choice. His final 'I will fall' as he seals that choice forever.

Lyrics:
The gates glow white up in Heaven tonight
Not a demon in sight
A kingdom of perfection
And I don’t belong in this section.

My Grace is burning, there’s aching pain inside
Couldn’t stop myself, Father knows I’ve tried

I did a little cover of Susan Enan's 'Bring On The Wonder' as a callback to my binge watching of Bones in 2018. I really love this song. It's wonderful.  I urge you to listen to the original.
