@leo-edgarian: I  feel you. My mom had a lot a problems when i was just 5. When my mom passed in 2016 I had to live with my grandparents I was 8 when she passed. My grandparents act like they love me when in public with their friends, but at home they don’t. I also feel like I’m in a horror movie. But I promise I will be your best friend. We both got the same problem so we are in it together no matter what. We are only 15 & 16 we don’t deserve this crap fr!

I like how the song implies, for the parents, that they weren't trying to control what she did but they truly just wanted her to have a good like and somewhere/thing to keep herself going in the future. I, unfortunately, can't say I completely understand being sorry to my father, but I can definitely understand trying to figure out what to do with my life and messing up. Love the song.
