Somewhere, way up there in a galaxy far, far away, there was a boy floating around in space.
This boy’s head was filled with sounds so trippy, so unique and so melancholic - that when an idea came, it was unlike anything you’d ever heard before. The boy’s ears were filled with endless amounts of recycled stardust - so that whenever he put on his headphones to make music, everything he created sounded like heaven. And the boy’s mind was constantly buzzing with impulses - so that whenever he expressed himself, they came pouring out of him in the form of sublime music. To us, he is known as Ninze.
Ninze is multi-faceted, yet utterly recognisable in his style. Having first taken the music scene by storm with unique productions and famously slo-ow DJ sets alongside his 2nd half Okaxy, he has since evolved as a solo artist as well as a member of the production- and live performance trio Wide Awake. 
No matter what he does, you can always hear it: that distinct sound that makes your knees feel like jelly and your thoughts like cloudy shadows. It’s a vibe that transports you to a place in your mind, something in between diving into trippy underwater melancholia and shooting up into deep cosmic space.
It’s only fitting then that our next podcast is a live set recorded specially for the Urban Cosmic Universe. If you listen closely, you’ll notice the little shooting stars, pulling you deeper and deeper into a world you can lose yourself in with ease. 
So finally, to quote the man himself: “roll it up, light it up, press play”*

That morning the little witch was in a frisky mood when performing her daily inspection round in her forest.  It was one of the first days of March and while walking barefoot in the ice-cold mud, she sensed that spring was slowly awakening, with all the birds vigorously singing their best songs at dawn.  The young witch started to sing a sweet song while walking gracefully through the woods, making sure not to trample any snow drops or crocus flowers.  But then all of a sudden she froze while her heart skipped a beat.  In the middle of the still leafless forest she spotted a completely green tree which hadn’t been there one day before.  She quickly realized this was the little oak tree which she planted 2 years earlier (in witchtape #22).  This tiny tree was destined to become the mother tree of the forest and was poised to live for over a thousand years.  Yet, during the two years after planting, it had barely grown taller, although the badgers (who had dug an elaborate network of burrows and tunnels around the tree) had reported some intense root activity during the winter.  The roots of the future mother tree were easy to recognize as they emitted a pleasant pinkish glow in the dark tunnels of the badgers sett.
The girl cautiously approached the tree and noticed it had grown prodigiously during the last 24 hours and on top of that it was fully covered with fresh green leaves.  This was in complete contrast with all the surrounding trees which were still without leaves.  She stretched out her hand, and when touching the tree, hundreds of blue flowers magically started to bloom simultaneously all over the tree (which is quite amazing given the fact that oak trees are not supposed to bear blue flowers).  And more amazingly, the immaculately white dress of the witch had changed into a beautiful blue color and flowers were blooming on her dress and even in her long brown hair, while the branches of the tree started to move and some twigs hugged the girl tenderly.  The witch and the tree engaged in a tender embrace, and all of a sudden the girl felt connected with every living being and every stone of the whole forest, experiencing an overwhelming amount of endless love.  Meanwhile all birds had stopped singing and held their breath…

Heute ist schnuppo unser, akustischer Reisebegleiter und geleitet uns durch die magischen Weiten der Downtempo Landschaft. Die wärmenden Sonnenstrahlen im Rücken und der beruhigende, blaue Himmel am Horizont, erschaffen gemeinsam mit der Musik eine malerisch-orchestrale Idylle. 
Die rhythmischen Klänge beleben meine Phantasie und meine Gedanken schweifen ab. Vor meinem inneren Auge zerfließt die vorbeihuschende Vegetation zu einem vibrierenden und wabernden, grünlichen Schemen. In dieser Masse tauchen von Zeit zu Zeit Muster auf. In Sekundenbruchteilen werden aus Rechtecken Kreise, diese wiederum verlaufen zu einer Pyramide, welche elegant um die eigene Achse zirkuliert. Dieses Formen & Farbspiel ist untrennbar eingebettet in die säuselnd-betäubende Musik von schnuppo. Diese Reise ist phantastischer als jeder Fantasy-Roman und lehrreicher als ein Sachbuch. 

schnuppo ist neben seiner Tätigkeit als DJ, selbst ein Podcast Betreiber auf unserer allseits beliebten Sound Wolke. Gemeinsam mit einem guten Freund betreibt er den in Österreich beheimateten Channel down. Dort veröffentlichte Tracks & Sets erreichen vier- bis fünfstellige Abrufzahlen und spielen auch qualitativ gesehen ganz oben mit.

There are a lot of people going through difficult times right now, as it has gotten a lot harder to escape the confrontation with all that ugliness and hate lately. Bamba’s way out was to dream through music. His mix sets hope, that better days will come. It is meant as a reminder that we all are still connected through music and hopefully always will be. 

Bamba crossed our path on the very beginning of chameleoncast. He has always been supporting our mission of releasing slow music in fast times and we are happy that Talpa Rec. has a special place in his heart. Na bumm! Endlich mal wieder ne richtige, spulige Spezialität. Von ganz tief unten und schön langsam im Dampfgarer zubereitet, kredenzen uns die beiden heute besonders leckere Pelmenis und sorgen somit für ein Sättigungsgefühl der etwas anderen Art. 

Gefüllt mit den verschiedensten Zutaten, wird unser auditiver Cortex mit akustischen Reizen gefüttert, welche die Großhirnrinde in wellenförmiges Vibrieren versetzen. 

Einige Etagen tiefer macht sich das natürlich auch gleich mal bemerkbar und wir erwischen uns dabei, wie der ganze Körper vor sich hin wobbelt.

Tel Aviv-based DJ and producer Takiru delivers a vibrant, dancefloor-centric fusion of warmly evolving arpeggios and driving percussive groove structures for Kiosk ID no. 027. Inspired by the unique sense of interconnectedness dance music can evoke, ‚Never Enough’ features two collaborations with Baroth and Omri Guetta and an atmospheric reimagination by Sobek. 

‘All Of His Friends’ is a melodically-charged torrent of cascading arps, spaced-out vocals, and a compact, throbbing substructure. Anchored in buoyant, springy percussion, Takiru and Baroth’s title track unfolds waves of loopy synth themes that morph across the frequency spectrum, forming ever-evolving layers of melodic nuance across an infectiously danceable core.

‘Never Enough’ unleashes rays of fluttering staccato chords and bit-crushed bass salvos that hover across perpetually cycling drum structures. Takiru and Omri Guetta invoke a yearning lust for life with a vocal mantra, epitomizing the power of dance music’s energetic release with a dynamic and brightly uplifting groover. 

Takiru’s pulsating and deceptively melodic sound merges Indie Dance and uptempo Playa Tech into an arp-crazed brand of groove-centric dancefloor ecstasy. As a collaborative effort, ‘All Of His Friends’ encapsulates the power of interconnectedness in music – artistically in the studio and as a shared release of euphoria on the dancefloor.
