Russian version of the song "Little Star" 
On April 28, 2023, singer Katerina Letto will release a Russian version of Vasudev’s song "Little Star." Originally released in English in July 2022, the song was written during a meditation retreat in Bali in 2021. The song is dedicated to the inner child in all of us.

Vasudev tells the story of how it all started:

“I was singing the song in song circles in Bali 2021, and it was well received. Then, a woman in our circle of friends killed herself because of the demanding circumstances she found herself in at the time. The song became a memorial song for her. 

At the opposite spectre, another friend asked me if she could use the song as the birth song for her not yet born child. Of course I said yes. We also sung it on birthdays – which often touched people deeply. 
A friend from Brazil, Luciana, started singing the song in her cacao ceremonies here in Bali. Then she asked if it was okay with me if she translated it into Brazilian Portuguese. Of course, I replied.”

Now it has been translated it into French, Italian, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and  Russian. More languages will follow….

"Little Star" is a song that celebrates love, self-discovery, and inner beauty. The song encourages listeners to follow their hearts and to live their truth, even when that might take us out of our comfort zone and far away from home. The lyrics acknowledges that life can be difficult and wild, but that we are also little stars shining our light in this world. "Little Star" is a reminder to stay true to our path and to let love guide us through the challenges of life.

The Russian translation of the song came together with the help of many Russian friends in Bali. The final version was put together by Katerina Letto and Vasudev, which was then recorded by Katerina. Her amazing voice adds new dimensions to the song.
We are thrilled to release the Russian version of “Little Star.” We hope it will resonate with Russian-speaking listeners around the world. The song will be available on all major music platforms starting April 28, 2023.
