Am 15. September 2015 entstand aus einem Gedankenspiel die Podcastreihe KataHaifisch. Um dieses Projekt herum formierten sich ein vielseitig aufgestelltes Team, ein DJ Kollektiv und viele regionale, sowie internationale Partnerschaften. 
Über die Jahre hinweg wuchs KataHaifisch in allen Bereichen und adaptierte immer mehr Betätigungs- und Aufgabenfelder. Partys wurden veranstaltet, eigenes Merchandising entworfen und 2020 folgte dann der Schritt zur Gründung eines gleichnamigen Recordlabels. 
Mittlerweile ist KataHaifisch ein etablierter Name in der elektronischen Musiklandschaft. Dementsprechend wurden viele Prozesse professionalisiert, andere Dinge bleiben wohl für immer verspielt. Liebe und Leidenschaft für die Musik sind jedoch unverändert das Herzstück von KataHaifisch. Dieser Motor treibt das Projekt kontinuierlich voran und beflügelt es fortwährend. 
Wir möchten uns bei Euch bedanken. Danke sagen, für das fleißige hören der Podcasts, Premieren und eigenen Releases, für das liebevolle Feedback, die motivierenden Kommentare und für den jahrelangen Support unseres Schaffens. 

Zur Feier der 30.000 Follower gibt es heute ein live Recording von Nico Tober & Case Chamber auf die gespitzten Lauscher. Diese Aufnahme entstand auf dem letzten „Konception - Schatz der Azteken“ Open Air. Der Playtime und dem Anlass entsprechend gibt es heute wieder einmal Techno zu hören. I took over a packed Acid Bogen at midnight after @mira_kater's amazing set. 
It took me a bit to get into my flow, but the moment it went off, I enjoyed it so much, especially seeing all the happy people dancing.

I dropped some new gems alongside many all-time favorites but also tracks I never dared to play before.
I felt again why I love doing that and how important it is to surround yourself with like-minded and inspiring people. I can't wait to come back. 🙃

My personal highlight 2022. Meeresrausch Festival, playtime 2 - 4.30 a.m. into a beautiful sunrise.

WOW, WHAT A YEAR THIS HAS BEEN!!! A rollercoaster ride in any manner, on a personal as well as on a musical level. It was the year I played the most festivals and still I haven’t uploaded any of the recordings. It just felt like those months were meant to be purely dedicated to the magical moments and encounters with people on site - be it new or old friends (you know who you are 🤟🏼).

This set is by far not mixed perfectly. The experience, however, to me was the most perfect one in 2022: A bunch of friends surrounding me on the floor and the booth, the opportunity to play after and before artists I admire (shoutout to @umamiinspace and @bonjourben !) and, after all,  the most incredible vibe and energy you, the crowd, brought about until the very last second of the set. What magic!

So here it is - my wildest uptempo journey of 2022, containing some catchy edits, tech-housy dance vibes, some darkness at first and some uplifting energy and cheesiness towards the end (my favorite). As always, accompanied by driving sahrabass lines and proper bounciness.

Hello my friends, I wish you all the best and health for the new year ❤. My best friend Bo Irion and I spent New Year's Eve at KaterBlau for the big Brain BBQ. Of course we didn't miss the chance to record this special set to share with you all. It was an indescribably great party at Acidbogen on Monday morning.
