„Dieses Mal war es eigentlich ganz bunt“, sagen @saite-zwei, wenn sie über ihre neue EP „NXT LVL“ sprechen. Dieses Mal haben sie auf der EP einen Track, der komplett von ihnen beiden von Anfang bis zum Ende zusammen entstanden ist: „Soweit so normal bei uns. Was dieses Mal aber neu ist, ist, dass die anderen beiden Tracks im Prinzip fast komplett von jeweils einem von uns sind. Ab einem gewissen Punkt haben wir die Tracks dann dem anderen vorgestellt und dann natürlich noch zusammen alles ausgearbeitet, teilweise überhaupt erstmal brauchbare Sounds zu den Songskizzen geschraubt. (...) Erscheinen wird die EP auf @freeatlastrecords. (...)

Birds of feather flock together: Both members of Kollektiv Ost originally come from the land of the thousand lakes, the North-Eastern German state of Mecklenburg. Creating partys since 2003 and already introduced to the Ritter Butzke Studio family they now deliver their first solo EP on our label.
The main track Actitube comes with a pushing synth stab line, leads in a lush break that peaks in a drop with a huge complementing bass melody. The Great Beyond catches with a straight four to the floor kick- and snare-groove combined with spherical atmospheres and drone pads. Unreal is a experimental journey with a big beat groove and wicked soundscapes, arps and vocal stabs.
