A spark of ingenuity sees Petar Dundov light up Proton Music once again aided by iridescent remixes from BLANCAh and Imran Khan.

Regularly seeing his music featured on the likes of Meanwhile, 3rd Avenue and Clinique with a variety of original and remix production material, Imran Khan has shone brightly through 2018’s “Arrival” EP on Particles, while August 2019’s “Organik” and November’s “Sunsweat” EPs continued his story on Proton Music. 

Remixes for GMJ, Dmitry Molosh and Michael A for the latter, have continued to showcase a burgeoning talent as the UK star now adds his touch to Dundov's new Spark release. Characterized by a hefty rhythmic groove and seismic bassline, growling synth lines swim across the stereo spectrum as delayed percussive hits and ticking hats supply hypnotic energy. Evolving with elegance, pads and effects are introduced as pitched variations on the original’s central motifs bend and echo into the distance in intriguing fashion. The result is an innovative and dramatic interpretation with its roots firmly in Petar Dundov’s 'Spark'.

Big Bells Records closes the year on a high note with the return of one of its most respected resident producers, Chris M, presenting his second EP on the label — Fever. Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Widely acclaimed British producer Dee Montero has delivered his rhythmic new Mandala EP, a club-ready release made up of 4 tracks, including ‘Apertura’ as well as ‘Mandala’, which features two special mixes.
“‘Mandala’ came about when I rediscovered a sample of a buddhist chant I recorded while stumbling upon a temple in Vietnam almost 10 years ago,” added Dee. “It’s one of those rare moments when you find a vocal that just fits the track effortlessly. ‘Apertura’ is inspired by those sunrise moments in the Black Rock desert during the first light at dawn.”
