This track opens like a domestic lullaby that’s already rotting at the edges. Morning rituals—toast sweating butter, coffee breathing steam—loop like a spell meant to keep death outside the room. Birds are invoked as witnesses, flowers as alibis. But the refrain “I will ghost you” keeps slipping in, not as a threat, more like a vanishing act rehearsed in advance. Love is present, yes, but it’s thin, brittle, spoken in a house built beside a slaughterhouse wall you pretend not to hear.

As the song sinks deeper, the everyday becomes industrial. Freshness is praised. Readiness is celebrated. The rhythm mimics routine: flap, clap, map—motion without direction. Killing happens daily, efficiently, with the calm confidence of tradition. “They” are never fully named, which is the point. Anonymous bodies move through the grinder of habit while language stays cheerful and hungry. Each day is called new, though it’s the same ending, over and over, unfinished and yet complete.

By the final passage, the creepiness hardens into accusation. Ghosting is no longer disappearance from a lover but withdrawal from responsibility. The sandwich becomes an altar: familiar, beloved, soaked in a violence nobody wants to narrate. The song doesn’t scream; it hums. It lets the listener sit with the soft horror of realizing that the most terrifying slaughter is the one that fits perfectly into breakfast, wrapped in paper, warm, and easy to swallow!
