I wrote this song after seeing the photo of Aylan washed up on the beach in Calais. I have cried so many tears for the people caught in the Refugee Crisis and for all refugees past and present across the globe. 

When I stopped crying, this song came through. Somehow I felt a little better after I had written and sung it.

This is a song that I was inspired to write in Dec 2018 after reading a children's book that my friend Jane Su-Ming Lai had written called MEGA-SOAR-US. It is about the principles of Kanyini. 

Kanyini is an Anangu word which means unconditional love. The Anangu people are considered to be the custodians of one of the oldest cultures on the planet. They are also the original indigenous custodians of Uluru and the sacred land surrounding it in Central Australia. 

Uncle Bob Randall (Tjilpi) was an important teacher of the Kanyini philosophy and principles. 

This song is a dedication to and a celebration of the sacred principles of Kanyini and the power and importance of practicing and embodying unconditional love for ourselves, all beings and the planet. The Time Is Now.

Deep gratitude and thanks to my dear soul sister Leanne Ta Iki Anawa for so kindly giving me permission to use her beautiful digital artwork for the sharing of this Kanyini song. The artwork was created and inspired by the re connection of the Cosmic Solar Umbilical chord from Uluru (acknowledged by many to be the Solar Plexus of our planet) to the Sun and the Great Central Sun (Alcyone, the brightest start in the Pleaides Star Cluster) which is acknowledged to have happened at the same time as the Saturn/Pluto conjunction on 12th January 2020.
