It was a Unicorn Lounge Birthday at Wicked Woods this year for this artist and oh what a weekend that was!!! I am so grateful for all my friends and fans. I truly felt the love all weekend, thank you all ❤️  This year's set is a multi genre Bday set that goes from 128bpm - 180bpm. Sexy grimy Tech House - UKG - DNB - Gangsta BASS - Future Bass!!! Even got some breaks in there for good measure! I went to Metallica right before I played this set, so there may be some Metal influence..... Freezer Burn 2024

My headline set from The Hot Dogger in January 2025 at Lake Louise Ski Resort in Banff National Park <3 I remember attending this party many years ago. SkiiTour was headlining at the time and the night solidified itself as a core memory for me. Raving in a ski lodge is THE BEST. When Lake Louise asked if I would headline the 2025 event I was blown away. This was a very full circle moment for me. Thanks for sharing in the dance and for listening.

Prepping for my recent show at IYKYK, I cut a track list of all my favorite tunes from 2024 and accidentally ended up with every banger that got my feet moving and made my spine tingle over the past season. Since the set never happened, obviously I had to hop on the decks the next day and play. In that moment, I was blessed with a deep flow state, and an hour of my truth poured out of me that encapsulates everything I've felt all year, rollercoaster that it was, and embodies what music has always been about to me -- a soundtrack to life. Music finds a way to uncannily reveal everything I feel in the moment, positive or negative, and helps me understand myself in a way that doesn't always make sense, but acts as a profound release to everything holding me in the past. I have felt tonedeaf in so many ways for so much of my life, but I've learned from all those mistakes, faced my fears and anxieties, burnt every limiting belief I could find to the ground, and now I'm ready for the next phase. It's gonna be one hell of a year, friends. To my earthly self -- You're rising from the ashes. I can't change you, but I can save you. And to the love of my life -- I saw you standing there, looking different but exactly the same. You've got a hold on me, baby. Sex is magic!

Kathartiik got his start playing to 3 dozen friends on the top deck of a houseboating on the Shuswap, with one goal in mind - - all bangers.  Since then, he has explored what drives him and developed a unique flow of lyrical wordplay and storytelling that exposes those feelings we can't quite describe, sharing his emotional journey through a genre-fluid mix of divinely inspired off-beat house, bass, DnB and anything else that reveals itself to him.

With a natural ear for (often dischordant) harmony and a background in vocals, piano, alto sax, guitar and drums, Kathartiik draws on those skills to build a complex sound that caters to the high vibrational crowd. He builds you up and takes you down and is always along for the ride.
