Kathie Touin is a singer/keyboardist/pianist/composer/songwriter who grew up in Southern California and now lives in the Scottish Orkney Islands. She has released four albums of original music as well as a collection of solo classical piano. Kathie has experience in rock, pop, folk, jazz and classical styles with experience in composing, arranging, recording and production and a strong working knowledge of music theory, including modal and chord theory. Kathie specialises in utilising original combinations of sounds, textures and atmospheres, and has a curated collection of piano-based libraries offering everything from soft, felted piano to driving percussion.
