This is the first half of a reading -- from (in order) Governor General award winning poet, Phil Hall, Sandra Ridley, Susan Gillis, Pearle Pirie, Phil Hall again --  all reading from former Parliamentary Poet Laureate, John Steffler's reprinted, 'The Grey Islands.'

Apologies, but the first couple of words get cut off at the beginning.  They are: 'There's no place to go to be alone anymore.'

I was lucky enough to submit a question to Question Period in the Canadian Senate and to have it asked and answered.  My question was, in short, why don't we have a national autism strategy in Canada?
