Ours

"Outside" was originally performed live by Staind during the 1999 Family Values Tour. Aaron Lewis was on the stage by himself and Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst was providing backing vocals. Lewis was asked to perform a song solo and he decided at the last moment to play a song he had been working on since the early days of Staind. He made up some of  the lyrics to "Outside" there on the spot while singing the song live, since he had never actually finished it before that night. The song became an accidental phenomenon.


Outside

"Make You Feel My Love" is a song written by Bob Dylan that appeared on his 1997 album Time Out of Mind. It was first recorded and released commercially by Billy Joel before Dylan's version appeared later that same year. It has since been covered by numerous performers and has proved to be a commercial success for recording artists such as Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson and most recently, Adele.

Make you feel my Love

By Anna Nalick, released in 2005, This song seems to be about looking past our mistakes and moving forward. In 2006, this was re-released and used in an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
The song spent 34 weeks on the Hot 100 but only peaked at #45. In doing so it equaled the record held by Ricky Martin's "The Cup of Life (The Official Song of the World Cup, France '98)," of spending the most weeks on the Hot 100 without making the top 40.

Breathe

I've been writing poetry, lyrics, stories and other musings ever since I could hold a pencil...same with drawing and painting.  I played the clarinet all through school. I love to play guitar and sing but never took lessons for either and actually am very much a novice, but I've recently become brave enough to share my music, even on stage, as well as my other art forms, simply because I believe art really is nothing unless its shared with others. I'm a proud single mom of 3, pediatric nurse, aspiring actress, art class teacher, volunteer, weather enthusiast, creative cooker and lover of earth, nature and animals. I  love ALL genres of music, but for guitar lean toward slower, ballad, or folk type songs.
