This ballad by Kathleen McGuire tells the true story of an Australian boy killed as a result of family violence. His resilient mum, Rosie, became a force for change as she educated a nation on the horrific truths behind family violence. The song was written to keep Luke’s memory alive and as a reminder for us all to continue to be vigilant against family violence.
