SO MUCH.

Okay you guys.

I have some pretty major news.

And no, it does not rhyme with “maybe” or involve cravings for weird stuff like Burger King Whoppers or Reese’s peanut butter cups and pickles combined.

I am going offline for the entire month of August.

Which, I know—believe me, I was surprised when I realized this—is TOMORROW.

And I don’t mean “I’m taking a little break from Facebook for the month.”

I mean I’m going completely offline.

One hundred million billion percent NOT AVAILABLE AT ALL, EVER, for 31 days. (Unless you write me a letter on paper that I get in the mail, or I see you in person.)

Some of you who know me know that I have a love/hate relationship with my phone and email and the internet in general.

Lately it has been more in the hate zone, and strangely, ever since moving to the mountains for the “nature adventure/writing sabbatical,” I have been more attached to my phone/text/email/etc. than ever.  It is actually POSSIBLE to go be in a retreat-like setting in the mountains in the “middle of nowhere” and NOT RETREAT AT ALL!!!!

Who knew?! NOT ME!!!!

(Let me take this brief moment to alert you to the fact that I’m about to launch about all of this, and a lot of life stuff, and a lot of feelings, too, and if I were to suggest anything for your experience of everything I’m about to share, I’d love that you pour yourself a cup of tea or grab a cookie, get comfy and come along…)

So, where were we? Oh yeah.

Completely.
Offline.
For 31 days.

My body sighs in relief every time I think of or say that!

I have SO much to say about it, too, and also so much not to say. You know?
