Liverpool born mezzo-soprano Kathryn; featured as The Times ‘Rising Star of Classical Music 2012'. In 2011 Kathryn completed her opera studies at the RNCM and made her highly praised professional opera debut with English National Opera. In 2012 she also made her critically acclaimed debuts with Opera North and Glyndebourne Touring Opera. 

Kathryn is a versatile concert performer and recitalist, regularly appearing at major UK venues and Festivals. She has performed as a special guest on tenor Noah Stewart’s UK Tour and performed as Carmen in Conductor Charles Hazlewood’s ‘Orchestra in a Field’ at Glastonbury Abbey. 

In 2013 Kathryn returns to Opera North in the role of Hermia in Britten’s ‘ A Midsummer Night’s Dream’
