Kathy Holmes is a native of Hollywood Florida and began singing at the gentle age of eight in her grandmother’s church. As her desire and voice began to grow, she began to branch out at the age of 12 by sharing her voice with neighboring churches. Her favorite gospel artists continue to be Shirley Caesar, The Clarke Sisters, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and John P. Kee the inspiration behind her CD “My Testimony”

In 2007, she was in a life changing accident that resulted in her losing both of her legs. She was on her way looking for love in all the wrong places. God showed Ms. Holmes His unconditional love through her tragedy and that she has always been the apple of His Eyes. She learned through this accident that she has been walking in God's grace and mercy all of her life. Ms. Holmes has learned that only with God will she be able to walk into greatness.

 Ms. Holmes exemplifies the scripture, Matthew 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven”. Her good works are always done cheerfully. You will never hear her complaining or down trodden because of her current circumstance. She is more than happy to be one who works behind the scenes. She has had a big impact on the world through the women she helps to encourage daily. Her life has helped numerous women and men to stay on the right path in life regardless of their past or current circumstances.  She is the founder of a Women Support Group in Charlotte NC, called "Broken and Healed" for women dealing with past or present abuse.  Teaching women how to see themselves out of the eyes of Christ, she is penning her first book sharing  her life changing story, which is her testimony.
