Dans cette édition du podcast Innovations, Nick Hyatt a rencontré la directrice du centre C.A.R.E de Montréal Olivia Quesnel et l'artiste en résidence Louise Campbell pour discuter du nouveau projet de podcast ‘Stories of Care’.

Le centre C.A.R.E. est un centre d’activités récréatives et physiques de jour pour les adultes avec des handicapes physiques graves. Depuis plus de 30 ans, C.A.R.E. a favorisé une communauté dynamique, riche en histoire, sons et récits. Stories of Care est un projet de podcast révolutionnaire qui raconte ces histoires, comprenant des entrevues et des échantillons sonores créés avec et par les clients, les employés et les familles du centre C.A.R.E., et de la musique composée et improvisée pour les clients par les musicien(ne)s Louise Campbell, Amy Horvey et Tim Brady.

Stories of Care est réalisé par le Centre C.A.R.E., Innovations en concert et Bradyworks dans le cadre du programme québécois «Une école accueille un artiste» du programme «La culture à l'école».

In this edition of the Innovations Podcast, Nick Hyatt met with Montreal’s C.A.R.E. Centre Director Olivia Quesnel and Artist in Residence Louise Campbell to discuss the new podcast project Stories of Care.

The C.A.R.E. Centre is a day program for adults with severe physical disabilities. For more than 30 years, C.A.R.E. has fostered a vibrant community, rich in history, sound and stories. Stories of Care is a groundbreaking podcast project that tells these stories, featuring interviews and sound samples created with and by CARE Centre clients, caregivers and families, and music composed and improvised for CARE Centre clients by musicians Louise Campbell, Amy Horvey and Tim Brady.

Stories of Care is produced by the C.A.R.E. Centre, Innovations en concert and Bradyworks, as part of Quebec’s “A School Hosts an Artist program” of “Culture in Schools”.
