Born in Ukraine, raised in Australia, and now based between Brussels and Paris, Katia is known for her unique fusion of reflective and danceable tracks. With a distinctive sound that blends timeless and futuristic elements, the queer artist expertly uses synthesisers, drum machines, and electronic instruments to create genre-defying productions.

With « Rebounce » I took a step back and tapped into something rue to me now— an authentic, bouncy groove that reflects my journey of self-discovery.
I wanted to capture a queer, sensual energy that’s both reflective and ready to dance, so I hope that you’ll like it as much as I do 💗

For the season 2025/2026 we selected "la crème de la crème" of each continent. An amazing international artists selection, for 11 tracks, blending styles from bass to break, hard drum to techno, with a twist of traditional sounds, each reinventing club music their own way.

Our soccer players, here representing Ecuador, Libya, Egypt, Mexico, United Kingdom, Indonesia, Brazil, Belgium, Japan, Ukraine and Australia; join forces on the pitch to bring you this unique, high-quality VA.

Born in Ukraine, raised in Australia, and now based in Paris, Katia Val is known for her unique fusion of reflective and danceable tracks. With a distinctive sound that blends timeless and futuristic elements, she cleverly uses synthesisers, drum machines, and electronic instruments to create genre-defying productions. You can expect an array of styles in her sets including deep techno, progressive trance, deep groovy house and a hint of bass music & breakbeat. Since 2020, she has played at iconic European clubs like Fuse, RSO, OXI, Ved Siden Af, Macadam, Rex Club & also Boro Room in Bogotá to name a few. 

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: How was your first DJ gig?
𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼: It was about 10 years ago at a DJ competition in Australia. That day, I was up first, so I figured there’d be maybe 10 people watching (mostly my friends and my grandma). But five minutes before my set, the room filled up and I had to play in front of 500 people. Luckily it was short because my nerves couldn’t have handled anything longer.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: From Hard-Trance & Hard-Techno to … ? How would you describe your sonic journey?

𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼: Pure experimentation. After diving into a bunch of genres, I’ve come full circle and ended up right where I started. It shows in my production too. It was fun to experiment, but it also made finishing tracks tough because I was constantly torn between different directions. Now, I feel like I finally found my sound so I guess it was worth going through all that. 

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: What's important to you when you play in the club?
𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼: Number one is a safe environment for everyone. A close second is keeping cameras to a minimum. I find it hard to stay in the moment when there are tons of phones on the dancefloor or when I can constantly feel cameras on me. It starts to feel like I’m experiencing the night through a screen instead of being present and connecting with people.
 
𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Any crazy story from your DJ life?
𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼: All my USB’s dying randomly throughout my set triggering constant emergency loops. This went on for about 2 hours. DJ hell.

𝙑𝙎𝙇𝙆: Have you set yourself goals for 2025?
𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙄𝘼: To produce as much music as possible.
