If we don't allow ourselves to feel our own emotions, how can we ever hope to empathise with others'? 

A Song A Saturday is a project by myself, Katie Archer, to release a live take of an original song every Saturday (well, most Saturdays) until I run out. Having just moved to Cape Town to do a master's, this was my way of making sure I played music at least once a week. It's a decidedly rough and ready process - these takes are far from perfect - but who/what is? It's all good, it's all good, and it's all music.

When you move away from home, and you're stripped of all those things that make you you, and you realise there's great opportunity for discovery in that. We're all alike when you strip it all away. We're all just music, and love, and god.
