A series of possible EVPs recorded in Chloride AZ.  Chloride is a small village now but at one time it was home to many silver miners in the local mine.  Wear good headphones (not earbuds) when listening.  Some are VERY faint.

This is an app called Necrophonic.  The recording is of two investigators (the owner and me) asking the spirits to sing.

First voice "Katherine"
Second voice: "Kath-EE" (Kathy)
Third voice "Kathy"
These are all referring to me.  The first voice saying Katherine reminds me of my recently deceased sister, who called me that all the time because she thought I should have been named Katherine instead of Kathleen.  The second voice reminds me of my deceased mom's voice, and the third voice is the same one, only the pitch lowered. Then it became my deceased brother's voice, which is very odd.

An unknown voice turns up on this recording as I am cautioning people not to trip on our tripod. The only other living voice is at the end, my husband responding to my request for the time. Who is the man talking about "the boss"? He was not there.

I was a "ghost" character in a local haunted house at the Powerhouse in Kingman AZ. My station was an enclosed office inside the Route 66 Museum there. During my down time (non-scaring people time), I recorded many odd things.  This one is a woman's voice asking "What are you doing here?" in a very stern way. A man answers "painting" and you can hear the clanking of paint cans. No one was painting anything. The building was given over to the ghost tour and no work was going on.

Investigating a closed elementary school.  A man tells me "get out, you're lost".  FYI, I was NOT lost!

Spirit box session.  Katie asks if the group should bring some "pretty girls".  Response sounds like "get a brain" and a different voice "built she was".  The tannery is a "pay to play" place, if it's still doing ghost hunts.

Sitting outside of the building, waiting for investigators to come out. I had my recorder going as usual. Playback revealed "hogs to chase" or sometihing that sounds very much like it. This doesn't seem appropriate for a former elementary school, but it is built at the base of a scrubby hill. There may have been a farm or ranch behind it at one time. Who knows?

Haunted Lee Williams high school, theater area. This school is still in use and has been featured in both newspapers and on a famous ghost hunting TV show for it's haunting. The hauntings may come from the old cemetery that used to be where the football field is now.  Approximately 80-100 bodies remain there in a mass grave, the rest having been removed. App used was Necrophonic. This app can be very interesting but I still don't quite trust it. However, this voice and the one behind it were new from it.

To be clear, this was not my Ovilus, but you hear my voice interacting with an Ovilus voice. I'm not sure what kind of Ovilus it was, but it sounded very human like. "Oh shit. Can you?"

I have sung "Ave Maria" in the old chapel of this closedd seminary.  Upon playback of the recording I made, a voice appears.  This version also includes a reversal of the voice.

Chloride is a tiny town in Arizona, considered the oldest still inhabited (former) mining town in the state. Among interesting sites is the old two cell jail (now locked up) shown in the photo and the fake ghost town of "Cyanide Spring"  This recording was made in the historical society house in the fake ghost town.

Here is a very weird one, at least IMHO.  I'm investigating our local theater (under renovation).  It is well lit, and no other investigators were near me as I simply sit by the stage edge recording.  I had an ovilus app running, which normally gets me NOTHING. I also was chatting with whoever might be present which is my usual method. Just trying to start a conversation, that's all.  I express my appreciation for some kind of previous voice that had come through. Then I CLEARLY hear this one through my speaker. Someone says a very clear response to my "appreciation".  Apparently, I can't "appreciate" what is going on according to this invisible person. It does not sound like it came through the Ovilus app. Hope this works.

EVPs and spirit box voices from a closed elementary school in Arizona.  Jenny was a murdered "business woman" in southwest Arizona.  Her boyfriend (aka: "husband") was a drunken gambler named Clem. When Clem demanded money from Jennie for his gambling, she refused and he killed her, then tried unsuccessfully to kill himself. This happened at a remote mining camp and it took a few days for the Mohave County sheriff to come pick them both up, Jennie for the cemetery and Clem for jail. Clem was sentenced to hang for her murder, but his mother ssent out pleas to everyone she could think of to change it to life in prison. She was unsuccessful and Clem was hanged in Kingman two years after his dastardly act. He was buried in the same cemetery as Jennie.
