2016 has seen the rise and return of discofied house music! With some massive Disco events blowing up over the past year and much loved old school legends returning to the scene,  I'm more than excited to bring a little bit of that 80’s style authenticity to Essex on September 2nd.

Imagine; big fun, last night a DJ saved my life… all them classics you can’t help to bop along too mixed in with some new age Disco productions, soul anthems and lashings of fun… this is what we’ll be bringing to you from 6pm on Saturday 2nd September on CTZN Bar Terrace and the brand new room 2! Whether you’re a Disco / House Classics veteran , or just wanting a night out with good music – this is something everyone will enjoy, and this mix is the perfect teaser for the event. Enjoy! xo

Katie Goodman is a young selector with extraordinary energy. She plays boldly with an impressive knowledge of music from the newest house party-starters to disco rarities. 

Having proved herself behind the decks at festivals like We Are FSTVL in London, Amsterdam Dance Event and Defected Croatia she is now proud to be a resident for the hottest party in the world, Glitterbox. Closely aligning with the party’s soundtrack of vocal anthems, nu-disco and soulful house, Katie’s style is intuitive and versatile due to years spent honing her skills at clubs in London and Essex. Having studied DJing and production Katie’s technique is exceptional, and while she continues to soak up the expert guidance of boss Simon Dunmore and her fellow Glitterbox residents, her future is beginning to look very bright indeed. 

Katie has supported the likes of, Dimitri From Paris, Horse Meat Disco, Eli Escobar, Purple Disco Machine and Kings of Tomorrow’s Sandy Rivera, to name only a few. Her upcoming schedule includes appearances at Amsterdam's Paradiso, Ministry of Sound, Printworks London, and festivals including Back Of Beyond, We Are FSTVL and Defected Croatia.
