Try Me

on my very first trip to London (consisting of 5 days before Christmas!) I got to go to State of the Ark Studios in Richmond and record this track with Ian Barter and the original Amy Winehouse band. An absolute pleasure and what I know must have been really tough for those boys to do. Honouring a magnificent singer, I really hope you enjoy this track.

A side note, I happened to have what will go down in history as the worst phlegmy cold I will ever have. Although I had to go to the bathroom several times between takes, I think it ended up giving me a really cool voice quality that adds to the song! who would've thought!!!?

Recorded in Thailand at Karma Sound Studios on my first trip! We had a fabulous fabulous time! Many thanks to the team!
