Still, I can't quite box this body of work in one genre. I'm inspired by many things, movies video games, art, and other genres of music, I guess that leaks out in this as no song is quite the same as the other.
Each stand out on their own, not complying to your typical album formula.
7 different styles, one after the other, each one bringing a new feel, a new experience. Never a dull moment and the music is ever-growing and always changing, for the better I hope.

Soul samples on Owl Pharoah's Travis Scott-esque drum. 2 styles that sound like a match made in heaven.
Still experimenting with sound, so let me know how you find the music!!

The whole project is done with soul samples

Like there's a really warm presence over each song

That was done on purpose, 808's tend to suck the life out of production, making them dark

So I made sure the samples warp a little every time there's a kick, to have it punch like an 808 does

Fivio is just one of those rappers who's a walking contradiction

The first to thank God for all he has but nigga raps about killing people and being overtly sexually explicit with women

Tbh that's what I love about him, he's a heavy sinner who's proud of it yet he doesn't even see how far his own lifestyle is from his claimed faith 

I wanted a sample that stretches and bends vocally like a choir would in a church, but not that stereotypical organ sound you hear in American churches

Also I believe titles of songs are more important than rappers think
"Demons" doesn't fully encapsulate Fivios verse hence the name change

That was my inspiration for that one

Knucks is pretty much an even more swagged out skepta who isn't afraid of being creative with his rhymeschemes

His wordplay is just fun and bouncy, he's somehow melodic without singing

That song is originally on a drill beat
Another heavy 808 type song
No life in the production
Usually those types of trap songs juxtapose perfectly with orchestras
That's what inspired the sample

I was lucky that the sample used as well is called "Thats just how some men are"

Knucks is rapping about himself as he's the shit
A walking bighead filled with ego

That's really just how some men are tbh with you, wearing a mask of confidence to the world

Real ones can see right through the facade

That's why I had the beat develop in the second half
I'm trying to say that there's more than meets the eye

I want the listener to question him and ask him, "you sure that's how you wanna be seen buddy?"

Emulating a deity

Typical Kanye trying to be a God fearing after years of claiming he himself is a God
"Wrestling with God"

Something about that bar tells me he's wrestling with God's existence as a human being, the one who was created

And also wrestling with God as in he is fighting who he has become
He chose the path of "Godliness" and its in direct war with what it means to be a Christian

There's so so many layers in what this man is say and who he's arguing with
Firstly himself
Then God 
Then his father
And then who he is trying to be (A god fearing christian with an ego that has been humbled by his faith)

He didn't need some heavily layered beat
That would take away from the layers in his verse

He needed something that feels transcended

With no kicks, this one has an 808 that was stripped of its subbase 
Almost as if it's incomplete
It's broken, just like Kanye

And then I double his voice in the last part of his verse
I wanna audibly represent that there's 2 of him in there fighting for control
