Also metaphorically about the way the industry operates to lure in those who have had some success, to 'opportunities' that end up being dead ends or worse, manipulations to take advantage of the naive, and the resulting tendency, for mere survival, to be 'picky' with all types of relationships, romantic or otherwise.
