Ruede has straddled the worlds of design, editorial and DJing ever since he first got involved with music. He became editor at Flyer magazine in Berlin at the beginning of the 2000s, which helped to further cement his relationship with the city's electronic music scene. Though he had experimented with music as a child, singing in a choir and playing both the flute and the guitar it wasn't until he got hold of a computer and started to make music via software that he truly began to express himself musically.

As time went on he began to release his music and gradually became recognised as a respected musician. He joined the Watergate crew and his career has spiralled upwards ever since, most rceently he was responsible for the excellent Watergate 13 compilation. It's an honour to have one of Berlin's finest on board for our mix tape series and it's a special one, enjoy!

Norm Talley has only become widely known outside of his hometown over the last five or so years, thanks to a slew of impressive releases on European labels such as Sushitech, Third Ear, Landed and Rue De Plaisance among others. However, his history runs far far deeper than just the last few years. Norm grew up on a diet of jazz, disco and progressive.

It wasn't long before his musical addiction evolved into DJing, though his early set up was very basic comprised one turntable, an eight-track player, a receiver and some speakers. As time went on he got hold of better equipment, began DJing for friends and progressed into becoming a prolific performer - recording many of his sets and resulting in a collection of mixtapes and mix CDs totaling over 1,000.

THE SONG “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU STARTED”  IS A PROGRESSIVE HOUSE SONG AND THE SOUND IS WHAT KATJA HAS BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO PRODUCE FOR A WHILE. THE SOUND GOES BACK TO THE ROOTHS WHEN SHE STARTED TO DJ AS A PROGRESSIVE HOUSE DJ IN 2004 MAKING THE DANCE FLOORS AROUND EUROPE SASSY AND HOT.

THE INFLUENCE BEHIND THE TRACK “YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU STARTED”  IS THE ICONA POP SONG “I LOVE IT” TRYING TO BRING THE SAME POSITIVE ENERGY AND SASSINESS INTO THE SONG.

Katja Gustafsson lives and breathes music, electronic music with dirty beats and lots of love. She is an educator, Producer, international electronic dj who loves to make her own sound by doing edits, mashups and bootleg remixes.  When she starts her set you know she will have the dancefloor in her hand going until the set is over.  Like a relay race with the smoothest transitions.  Like two horses running together on the beach. technical skills, sophisticated pulse of musical choice, live remixing and with love, passion and musicality its her mission to see to that the next song always will get you in a higher mood to keep the dance floors euphorically dancing. She can do most genres like techno/minimal/house/electro/edm to more commercial radio music. Traveling around Europe and other continents Djing professionally since 2006 (started 2002) at all the big dancefloors with an audiance from 800-4000 personer and in pride parades with an audiance up to 500K in cities like Stockholm, Berlin, Barcelona, Florence, London, Hamburg, Oslo, Rome, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Palma - Mallorca, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Montreal, Toronto och Mexico City and so on. When not DJing on her own you can find her in different dj constellations, she is also an award winning party promoter, has started to produce her own music and she is also try to spread the dj culture to everyone in her way with her dj school DJ PRODUCER ACADEMY.
