Seit seiner Kindheit macht der aus Frankreich stammende und in Berlin lebende Nicolas (36) Musik. Bereits mit 11 Jahren fing er an Schlagzeug zu spielen. Damals entdeckte er durch seinen Musiklehrer seine Leidenschaft für "Prince". Erst Jahre später verstand er die Texte, und es gefiel ihm noch besser. 
Bald spielte Nicolas E-Bass und gründete seine erste Rockband. Mehrstimmig zu singen hat er mit dem Vater seines besten Freundes in einer "Vocal Jazz Band" gelernt, laut zu singen dann seit 1998 mit der Band "The new sound of Lapoubelle" auf der Straße (myspace.com/thenewsoundoflapoubelle). 
Während dieser Zeit begann er Stücke zu komponieren. Beeinflusst wurde er von seinen Idolen Leonard Cohen, Frank Sinatra und Prince, genauso wie von seinen zahlreichen Reisen als Mitglied des "Atelier Limo" (www.atelier-limo.eu).

Seit 2012 ist Nicolas Mitglied des Duo Hallo! (hallo.bandcamp.com), macht Straßenmusik mit der Band "Moviton" und tritt regelmäßig als Kater Kater auf (soundcloud.com/katkater).
