"I’ve met Griffin aka Francis Inferno out and about quite a few times now and have to say he’s fully good vibes all the way. The other week Lexx sent me a track by him that I’d never checked before on Superconscious that is pretty flipping great and here’s another new one by him. The main mix of Oasis sounds like an old Italian vibe, one of those ones with a breakbeat running underneath, though with the break pushed to the front which works perfectly for these times. Also great is the Erotikk mix of ‘Oasis’ which comes on like a late 80s / early 90s B side secret weapon and ‘Mating Rituals’ which rounds the record off goes all tribal and chant-y before dropping into a messed up little break and out again. It all sounds like he’s having loads of fun but the throw it in the pot attitude works perfectly." - Testpressing

Spring has finally landed and we have the perfect soundtrack for those long sunny afternoon in the park. Blaq Numbers is glad to present "Explorer of the Humankind" for his first release with them. Starting with "Stars in her eyes", a gentle track where the Lyon newcomer use his voice as well as real drums for a smooth listening-experience. Following in the same vein but a touch more upbeat is "Just a Tool", a more playful funk-inspired piece. Closing the a-side, "Share the Love" takes the tempo a bit higher and and shifts toward more club-friendly territories, houses goodness.
Turn that disc and get awake for "I Know", a disco-edit piece with trace of french heritage and filter action. Lastly, "Deep Inside" takes us into a gentle profound dreamy state, moving more on the inside than with the feet.

PREMIERE : Explorer Of The Humankind - Share The Love

Yarni’s ‘Entkommen’ was a well-received debut album on this label last year, and now comes the first of two remixes EPs. AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni all serve up brilliant new versions ahead of part two in September.
Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on ‘Agitator’ creating a CFCF like vibe. It’s awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.
Next up, IPG follow on from their recent disco hit with Hot Toddy, joining forces here with Yarni for a remix of ‘Granny’s Garden’ that is blissed out and dreamy thanks to the heavenly chords and gentle percussion. Then it’s, ATDHE a newcomer from Yarni’s hometown of Sheffield who breathes new life, broken beats & shimmering melodies into ‘Waterfall’.
For his remix, Dutch producer ‘Harmonious’ takes us on a beautifully harmonic journey with rubbery kicks powering along the thoughtful groove. After that is another newcomer in the form of Tales Of Voodoo who take the delightful ‘Goin Live in Rabat’, strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. Last of all is an alternative disco remix of ’28 Years of It’ from Tuff City Kid member Lauer who uses all his know how to cook up a euphoric remix with big retro chords and effortlessly summery vibes. 
All six of these remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another superb release from Night Noise Music.

Our man Jad & The (@jad-lee) and his @beatsofnonationradio crew have put together an excellent compilation of music by Australian house, disco and electronic dudes to raise funds for relief efforts for the horrendous wildfires in their country. They're specifically donating the proceeds to help First Nations communities, and this highly musical gem from the hugely talented @stosuur is one of our favourites. Packed with innovative twists and turns and lots of feel-good flavour, it's brilliant stuff.

Serenity Records is a new not-for-profit record label, aimed at raising essential awareness on the growing epidemic of mental health within the music industry, whilst also donating all proceeds of its project to various mental health charities.

One of the key features of the project is to allow the artists commissioned for each EP to have the opportunity to select the particular charity that their work will support. So for 001, John Shima & Mihail P's EP will support the work of Music Minds Matter - a charity unquestionably leading the way in making a difference to mental health issues in the music industry.

The inaugural EP beautifully intertwines between floaty synth work and hypnotic percussion - adequately serving its purpose as a resource for music lovers looking to seek refuge away from whatever problems they may face.

Four new original songs from Nachtbraker with intricate percussion and melodic arrangements. Diving deep into Nachtbraker’s wicked mind, each tune has a healthy dose of weirdness. 

Title track “Bay Be Blu” tickles the endorphin receptors with its euphoric melodies and ‘Stranger Things’ atmospheres. The second track leans on soothing warm synths gliding over a dub bass with tight drums. In addition, attentive listeners will hear Nachtbraker’s personal field recordings on the beaches of Barceloneta.  When the record is flipped one finds herself in “Tangelo Dreams”, a mid 90’s, Pacific Records inspired jam with a driving baseline. Rounding off the record is “Drip”, a track drenched in unconventionalism and oddities.
