I know what you mean when you say "gripping," goodness. After watching this show, that scene stuck with me so long afterwards. Sayaka and Oktavia Von Seckendorff and her music. But mostly, the theme. Very beautiful, hard to describe... just as magical as any old classical instrumental piece. Such a strange song, I remember I heard a rendition of Decretum that was mixed together with it's original inspiration Greensleeves. You should try to find it, very beautiful. Love the work ^^

Symposium Magarum still grips me a lot, though I didn't express the anger within the piece here, this was meant to be a sad and melancholic piece together with Fur Elise and Rondo Alla Turca~ I might consider of coming up with another piece for Sayaka, but till then enjoy!~
