"Though I dread the pain of letting go
I don’t regret the things that I have lived
In my heart you will still be there"

My first single, a piano poem about letting go. We’ve all had to let go of someone in our lives. This is the story of my journey learning to let go. The first half is a theme that has been running in my head for many years waiting for a purpose which finally found it. The second half uses multiple layers of piano, different themes representing memories as you run through all the things you did, you could’ve done better. And then slowly each memory fades out one by one until you’re left with the last memory, the last thing you choose to hang on to.

This is part of a selection of my works that I call Piano Poems, they tell a story through a short accompanying poem, words to accompany what I can only speak through the piano.  Although everyone's experience through music is unique, I hope through the Piano Poems I can connect you to my experience.
