Southern raised, NYC trained and currently , LA based electro-soul songstress Katrina Blackstone is a force to be reckoned with. A voice that will stop you in your tracks; her music delivers stories of strength with a playful sensuality. As a lyricist she crafts stories infused with relationship, archetypes, and power through vulnerability. Katrina forged her own path through the indie-electronic scene through collaborations with the prolific Bluetech, dub/reggae revolutionary Dr Israel,post futurists Mexican Dubwiser and the innovative DJ Vadim. Her first full length album “Double Sided” released 2017 in collaboration with DJ Vadim on BBE Music wholeheartedly explores the complexities of love, relationships and career vs family that many women face today through saucy and affirming melodies set to pulsing futuristic electro-dub.
