Katrina is an award-winning composer of over fifty short films, a handful of podcasts, and feature films including the drama feature "Two Lives In Pittsburgh," and the animated musical fairy tale, "Bongee Bear and the Kingdom of Rhythm," which was nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2019 Palm Springs Animation Convention.

Katrina also worked as a music editor, sound designer, and composer assistant for Nickelodeon's "The Casagrandes" and "The Loud House" shows for three years, as well as composed for all of the shows short films.

Pieces by Katrina have been recorded by large orchestra's based in Los Angeles and Chicago, and her piece "Many, Many Clementines" was recorded and broadcast by Chicago's classical radio station, WFMT.

Outside of composing, she has sound designed for short films, commercials, features, and docs, as well as for the post-apocalyptic podcast 'Earthbreak,' which features Jenny Slate. In 2022, Katrina received the award of "Best Sound Design" from the Indie Short Fest for the film "The Mannequin Man."

Katrina has an MFA in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago and currently lives in Los Angeles, but was born and raised in the small town of Winslow, Maine.

Since 2012, Katrina has also run the California Independent Film Festival International Film Scoring Competition based in the San Francisco area.
