"sechs uhr laeuten" is a radio piece. It tells of the sounding world of my childhood.
How sounds led me through the day, accompanied my growing up, and made me happy or afraid of what I heard.

I lived with my grandmother for the first 9 years of my childhood. Her " beim sechse leiten bist daham" stands for a warm-hearted woman.
It stands for a living environment in which, for example, the church bells' sound helped organize social life within a radius of kilometers. 
For me, it was a world in which everything had its sound: every activity on the farm and every aspect of social interaction in daily life.
The seasons, carnival, May, the church holidays, the school break, making coffee, and making cider, everything sounds and has its sound. Birds are not just birds. It is the bullfinch, the goldfinch, the red crossbill, the blackbird, the nightingale...
The people sound different, the academics different from the craftsmen, the harvest workers from various regions bring their dialects in summer. ....
In June 2007, I was in Sibiu, doing a piece for the cultural capital program.
We lived on the outskirts of the city. Then, half-past four in the morning, the rooster started doing their thing one after the other. This aural experience immediately took me back to my childhood.
For this piece, I remember specifically. Trace the sounds of my childhood, search for them and invent the untraceable.
6 e leuten is a sound narration in 40 sound stories. The formal arc is a year....it begins in May and ends again in May.

KLANGJUWEL Mariendom Part A (2020)
Part A: Four percussionists measure, rhythmize, and fill the sizeable neo-Gothic church space with noise. 
Performers: Sofia Garzotto, Airi Kitamura, Elliott Gaston-Ross and Sebastian Wielandt.

The piece was composed by Sam Auinger for Klangwolke 20 Sounding Linz  (artistic direction: Gitti Vasicek, Wolfgang Dorninger, Sam Auinger and Peter Androsch).

KLANGJUWEL Mariendom is a three-part performance piece for two voices, the Rudiger organ, and four small drums (snares). It has a duration of about 15 minutes. On September 12, it was performed during the Linzer Klangwolke 20 Sounding Linz between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. three times, with the participation of: 
Nicole Lubinger (soprano) and Florence Losseau (mezzo-soprano) | voices

Sofia Garzotto, Airi Kitamura, Elliott Gaston-Ross and Sebastian Wielandt | Snare Drums

The three parts are:
Part A: Four percussionists* measure, rhythmize, and noise the church with their drum beats.
Part B: Two singers slowly conquer and occupy the large room/space, with their voices moving towards a particular place.
Part C: The Rudiger organ investigates the room in its musical dimensions, from vibrating loud to almost imperceptibly quiet. The organ play ends with an improvisation on a Keplerian planetary theme.

KLANGJUWEL Mariendom Part A

The liveliness of a city is reflected in the activities of its inhabitants: how, when and where they move around in it. Walking is the most individual form of locomotion in terms of its direction and speed. Sidewalks, pedestrian areas, traffic-free roads and squares are the public spaces most preferred by those navigating a city on foot, marking its pavement and paths with the pulses of their steps.  
The format path_of_awareness explores the personal experience of space while walking, especially the effective context of the built environment and a sound event (step) within.
