Katrin Kern is the lead vocalist on “Changeling”, the second song in JS Kingfisher’s cycle, From the Moon to the Earth. Her vocal quality has been described as resonant and lyrical, yet ethereal. A singing actress, Katrin devotes herself to the service of many styles with her interpretations, including classical, standard, and musical theatre, pieces of music from the ambient genre, those for film and television, and original, as well as popular, contemporary songs

Even before she could talk, Katrin had begun to sing; her gift was nurtured from the earliest age by her family of multi-generational singers. In her lifetime as a vocalist, Katrin has sung a duet with Lamont Dozier, which was also composed by the Motown legend. She has been the featured soloist on James Newton Howard’s score for the major motion picture Waterworld. Her voice has been heard countless times the world over, gracing theme songs, scores and advertising music in the cinema, on television, and on radio. Currently, she is preparing a cabaret show as well as two new recording projects- one is inspired by vintage, European disco; the other falls into the category of New Age music.
