"Sent by the Man" takes a look at an executioner's last breath, as his life flashes before his eyes, as well as the perils of the moments just after Death has gripped his silenced heart. Is he forgiven? Forgivable? Awake and alive? Is this a fever dream as he steps up to commit his first act? A haunting echo as he tries to drift into sleep? Will he defy his orders or damn himself to a life of following? More questions than answers as Death interrupts his thoughts and we drift into the floating instrumental haze of the climax of the song.

Over two decades ago I recorded a solo version of Pink Floyd's seminal album 'Dark Side of the Moon', playing every instrument, singing every vocal part, using a Yamaha keyboard meant for children on the organ/synth parts, and a busted digitech RP6 for all guitar effects. Also I hit a D two octaves above middle C during Great Gig In the Sky.
