Liquid Sound Design Records is very pleased to introduce the legendary Saafi Brothers as the latest addition to the label.

They are formed in the spirit of chillout & dub, and they have a mystical connection when placing with their audience into higher spheres.

Their new album “The Quality of Being One” goes deep into soul turning ambient-dub and adds drum thrills that get the tunes rocking. The secret of their "danceable speed" in ambient tracks is a higher density of their unique ambient-electro sounds and rhythms to experience feelings through their deeply emotive music.

Starting with deep intros and then merging atmospheric filterworks into dubwise beats for the floor that can be specially experienced in their live performances.

With “The Quality of Being One” the Saafi Brothers take another really strong view into experiencing the mystical oneness of being in unity and brotherhood that we could live in.

Their 6th album is about acoustically capturing blissed out dub beats and tranquil ambient sounds, transporting quality that's almost hypnotic, more than a fleeting electronic moment and shows how minimal decent dubby tracks can be. Sleepless-faced on music Saafi Brothers digged deep into a series of 'live recording sessions', rediscovering the emotional depth of real-time created music after a couple of live shows that fueled the idea of creating an entirely live recorded album.

The crossing line in this axis is the storytelling aspect. It´s about to be off and to experience, being on the road and get a sense of freedom. It's about doing our first journeys. No looking back, leaving things behind and walking the highway towards the big unknown with all good or dark it could bring. Every place that we came has its moment. With all the atmospheres and images in our heads, Saafi Brothers reflective in their vision and interact in their strong musical relationship.

An undisputed link in the album is the balance of machine language and organic live performance that creates the man-machine aspects of electronic music in their very own language - and on the other side the overall layer is linked to Dub music, mixed up with electro-acoustic live performance. Starting with deep intros and then merging atmospheric filterworks into dubwise beats.

The result was a numerous of tracks of which we compiled a bunch of the strongest appealing tunes and formed them in the studio to an intense and deep listening experience journey. Saafi Brothers’ mystical journey began in 1996 when, inspired by his travels to India, Gabriel Le Mar started a collaboration with Frankfurt-based producers Michael Kohlbecker and Groovetitan. Simon Ghahary signed them to BlueRoom and their debut album ‘Mystic Cigarettes’ quickly made its way into the hearts of music lovers, placing Saafi Brothers among the key artists of the electronic ambient scene.
