This track emerged while working with Corin from Latin Dub Sound System. I wrote lyrics based on poems I write among friends. London 2007

QUICKSILVER

This piece was written by Darren Berry and Neil Codling from Suede. I sang in it and did lyrics (2007) This then became the main theme for opera The Old Kang Pow 2015.

This Track came about after I meet Charlie Klarsfeld from the band The Americans. This song I dedicated to his brother who became an eagle. London 2010 home studio. 

Eagle

This track Katy wrote it in memory of her ancestries and friends of her family down in Temuco. Lyrics are taken from a poem and it talks about the sun! 
 

Mapudungun Sun Celebration

This track came about after meeting Dj producer Leo Cero, we worked few idea at his place, then I took ideas and with Phil Polecat from the band The Polecats we did a twist into disco!

Katy Prado is a Singer Song Writer now based in London UK. She studied opera at University of North Texas from 2000 till 2002 then she won a scholarship to study in Miami at One World School of the Arts in 2002 till 2003. After she moved to London UK to study opera and world music at City University and Guildhall. Katherine has worked with few producers, Djs and film. Currently she is a resident singer at Coya London Memmbers club. She has performed with Ronnie Wood, Shakespear Sister and A Mountain of One. She has shared stage with Paloma Faith, Mark Ronson and have sang at Jeff Beck`s birthday this year 2015. Katherine has written music for dance, film (Riot on Red Church and Isle of Dogs, electronic and Cuban album with Cameron McBride JW media.
