The only constant in Morta Mor’s word is change, not only in terms of lifestyle but also in terms of music selection. Musically raised by Berlin’s club and festival culture, Morta further draws inspiration from her nomadic lifestyle, which results in trippy genre-bending eclectic curations as she is constantly on the lookout for strange groovy sounds, weird vocal loops, captivating beats and twisted percussions. 

Beyond music itself, Morta Mor is on a mission to bring inclusion and diversity to electronic music dance floors by attempting to represent more female, queer and POC productions in her DJ sets.

Morta Mor isn’t new to electronic music despite being a newcomer to DJing - she has been part of the scene for the past 10 years as a professional party and festival goer, curator, producer and promoter. She has brought holistic & artistic experiences to festivals like Garbicz Festival, Moyn Moyn Festival, The Imaginarium and organised events in locations such as Berlin, Paris, Los Angeles, Tulum and Vilnius, among many others.

But it's the same set, more or less. It is long due I put this out there. A lot of what I call routines, layered tracks and live edits and stuff that happens in the moment. I put a lot of effort in it and I hope you enjoy this little journey.

Token aus Berlin mit aktueller Wahlheimat Bonn, bounced uns mit Mix Nummer 011 perfekt in den September und verlängert uns mit einem sonnigen und straight nach vorn gerichtetem Sound den Sommer. Diese hervorragend kuratierte Tracklist liefert uns unterschiedlichste Facetten von Housemusik, gewürzt mit einer Prise knarzigem Minimal und der ein oder anderen Breakbeat Note. Exzellent abgemischt ergibt das ganze einen groovigen Kick, der uns das Wohnzimmer zum Dancefloor werden lässt. The best part is when a good friend makes music and hits the record button for us. Token from Berlin, currently living in Bonn, perfectly kicks off September with mix number 011, giving us a sunny vibe that keeps the summer going strong. This wonderfully curated tracklist offers a variety of house music, seasoned with a touch of gritty minimal and a few breakbeat nuances. With his excellent mixing, it all comes together to a groovy vibe that turns our living room into a dance floor. MIKROMAL #011 by Token

El dúo actual de Gameboyz está formado por dos mentes despiertas y creativas de Badajoz, nacidas en 2012, con un espíritu creativo insaciable, especialmente en lo que respecta a experimentar con la electrónica desde todos los ángulos. Muchas de sus producciones están orientadas a la pista de baile y logran, de manera casi chamánica, transportarnos a otra dimensión. Son efectivos y arrolladores en la pista, combinando una multitud de géneros con maestría y elegancia.

Son los autores de producciones emblemáticas como "Carne de Puerca", "Calor de Foco", "Juan el Jefe" o "Mucho Danger", su primer LP lanzado en 2016 bajo su propio sello, Melomana Records. Su enorme discografía incluye reconocidos y variados sellos como Relish, Biologic Records, Electrique Music, La Belle, Beachcoma o Nein Records.

Aunque poseen muchas virtudes destacables, las que más deberían reconocerse son su perseverancia en su proyecto musical y la empatía que generan con el público en la pista de baile. A lo largo de su carrera de 13 años, han pasado por una multitud de festivales y clubes, entre los que se pueden destacar Razzmatazz, Moog, Apolo, La 3, El Sótano, Kafka, Lanna Club, así como ciudades como Tel Aviv, Lisboa, Londres, Perpiñán, Ibiza, Madrid, Barcelona o Valencia.

Han conseguido mantenerse en un terreno único en un momento en el que resulta cada vez más difícil sonar diferente, por no decir original o inspirador.

"Para esta sesión, hemos querido centrarnos en el electro y los breaks, explorando todas sus variantes. Nos hemos sumergido en nuestro baúl musical para seleccionar temas especiales y diferentes, alejándonos un poco de lo que solemos pinchar en nuestros bolos habituales.

Además, nos hemos movido en un rango de BPM un poco más alto de lo que estamos acostumbrados, saliendo de nuestra zona de confort. La sesión está hecha con mucho cariño, ¡esperamos que la disfrutéis tanto como nosotros al pincharla!"
