Dampé is the solo project of Joe Munday, a producer and DJ from South London. Joe’s foundation in dance music stems from being a regular on the floor at parties like FWD>>, Deviation and You’re A Melody. His music brings together undeniably UK sounds with an ear for sound design and emotion to create something quite distinct. After a short break Dampé is set to release new single Twenty Two Savanna in December followed by an EP early next year. So far Joe has released projects via Dirt Crew, Darker Than Wax, Fina, Wot Not, XVI and High Praise.

The EP opens with Radice's Original Mix, a testament to her skill to balance energy and minimalism masterfully, with such a unique style too. With this track she creates a mysterious energy that really captivates the listener.

Eleven Of July, hailing from Rome, Italy, delivers his Full Body Rework that is sure to ignite dancefloors with its melodic techno heat. With powerful basslines and epic breakdowns, Eleven Of July's take is tailor-made for peak-time big room action, promising an unforgettable sonic experience.

Argentinian-based producer Abel Meyer, a regular supporter of ARRVL Records, presents his version on the original with a remix that showcases his signature rhythm and groove. Meyer's remix seamlessly intertwines with Radice's original elements to brilliant effect. Already well supported by the man himself Hernán Cattáneo, this one may just create some attention too.

Following the critical acclaim of "The Space Between," "Hyperobjects" marks a continuation of Paul K's journey into the depths of ambient and electronica, guided by the touch of the piano, the timbre of the cello, and the intricacies of modular synthesis.

"Hyperobjects" - an 11 track collection, each with a unique narrative woven from the threads of ideas people experience in the modern world. The album delves into an eclectic array of themes from, spirituality, the human condition, environmental consciousness, and the ephemeral nature of existence. The record creates a rich blend of auditory experiences. From the opening movements of "Diaspora" to the contemplative resonance of the title track, Paul K, with Rachel Dawson on cello, invites listeners into a world where the boundaries are beautifully simple. The album’s sound, a confluence of influences from luminaries such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Brian Eno, Max Richter, and Hinako Omori, is both an homage and a forward leap, embedding within its layers a minimalist yet expressive record.

For the title track "Hyperobjects", he was inspired by Timothy Morton's conceptual framework for understanding the vast objects/concepts that are within our understanding but beyond our immediate grasp. This philosophical underpinning is not just for show either; it is the core of the album. This LP challenges listeners to perceive beyond the immediate, to engage with music as a medium of connection and reflection. Paul K’s approach to composition—melding melody with ambient soundscapes, integrating cello lines with sampled voices, all while maintaining a minimalist integrity—demonstrates a understanding of ambient music’s potential not just as background texture, but as a dynamic participant in the listener's emotional landscape.

As we approach the release date for "Hyperobjects" he will be releasing an accompanying visuals set to premiere on Paul's YouTube channel. These videos promise to extend the album's exploration of its themes into the visual domain, offering a multi-sensory engagement with Paul's world. "Hyperobjects" pushes to be more than an album; it is an invitation to journey through concepts connected to the vastness of human experience, mediated by the subtle power of music to convey the inexpressible. With ‘Distortion’, Ralf Kobernuss delivers sepulchral Techno Noir with a thundering Industrial substructure alongside a bright and snappy reimagination by Rancido for DESSERT029.

‘Distortion unfolds oceans of darkly phasing pads, washed-out vocal chants, and hypnotizing saw-wave sweeps that surge across a corrugated rumble of drums. Ralf Kobernuss’ morphing themes open up a shuddering witching hour of mesmeric synth work and punishing low-end for late nights and early mornings.

Rancido contrasts the oozing darkness with an anthemic synth hook, searing stabs, and brightly pulsating percussive salvos. 
Cascading arpeggios cut through the original’s spaced- out pads, transforming ‘Distorsion’ into a razor-sharp floor-focused groover.

‘Distortion fuses powerfully anesthetic soundscapes with pounding subs and analog drums, bringing a hypnotic brand of left-field techno to the dancefloor with punishing intensity.
